Hi Greg,
again…I need some help. I would like my Images to open when clicking on them in a lightbox. I tried using https://www.dfactory.eu/products/responsive-lightbox/ and https://wordpress.org/plugins/lightbox-plus/, but I can’t find out why it won’t work. The Images don’t even open in new Window, although I clicked it in my Widget Images (on the page, the portraits e.g.).
Can you help me with this?
Best wishes,
Winnie
Hi Winnie
Try adding your images via the SiteOrigin Editor widget. It has an Add Media button that’ll let you add images via the usual WordPress new media window.
Hi! Thanks for your fast reply. Is there no other option than using your described version? I tried it, and then it works, that the images open up, but I believe not with the lightbox setting. But I haven’t been trying to hard on that, because I would want all my Images to be clickable and seeing them in a lightbox. I use the SiteOrigin Image widget for single images and for the gallerys I use the meta slider. But the gallerys are less important to me… Is there a possible way?
Thanks!
Thanks for your feedback.
Unfortunately, I don’t think there is a way to get Responsive Lightbox working with the SiteOrigin Image widget. The Image widget doesn’t have a rel field. You’d insert the word lightbox into the image rel field to manually active Responsive Lightbox for a particular image.
I’ll log this thread as a feature request. Hopefully we can improve this part of the SiteOrigin Image widget soon.
Hi there,
Will the rel feature be added in the future? I love the Page Builder plugin, and the lightbox feature would be a great improvement to it. To be able to add a rel attribute would be enough.
Thanks!
