Image using Meta Slider is Blurry

I am using a static home page with a background image near the top. Its a high quality image but when I upload it using meta slider, it becomes more dull and blurry. Its mainly around the text that is most noticeable. When I place the image in other places on my site using other plugins or just directly on a page, the image is crisp and looks fine. Therefore, it leads me to believe its something going on with Meta Slider. Can anyone help? I have found other posts on it, but no resolution was made public…
