Image slider not displaying correctly

Hi, i am having trouble with the image slider – the pictures, which are uploaded to back ground image as per the tutorial, have an extra ‘slice’ at the bottom which repeats the bottom 10 -20 pixels of the picture – you can see it here:

I have tried changing the size of the pictures, which made no diference, and from cover to tile, which just made the repetaed strip at the bottom tiled, but still repeats of the bottoms few pixels of the picture. AND I have tried this on my main site and the result is the same, – is there a bug? or a setting I am missing?

– I also tried the layout slider, but that doesn’t display at all – unless I also use the image slider in which both sliders display at the same time. I am very confused, help would be very much appreciated. – thanks
