Image size for fully stretch home slider

Hi
how big size shall I use for fully stretch home slider, can I use bigger than 1080x420px?

Vantage Theme Settings
I use Layout Bound – full width
Stretch Home Slider – checked
Metaslider – FlexSlider , width 1080px , height 420px

    Sorry I mean background image for the Home Slider!

    Hi Johnny

    It’s a tough question because the slider at 100% will stretch to the display width of the viewing computer. The method we’ve used in the demo and described here: https://siteorigin.com/vantage-documentation/getting-started/slider/ is to use an overlay image for the text, that prevents the text from stretching, leaving the background image free to stretch and zoom as the slider stretches.
