image does not resize

I have Vantage Premium.
In “Edit Image”, when I change the image size and click on “scale” the number I entered revert to the original numbers of the original image size and the image does not resize.
What is wrong?

    To narrow the problem down you might try retesting the same process but with all plugins deactivated and a default theme like Twenty Sixteen activated. That’ll let you know if you have a theme/plugin problem or a core WordPress challenge.

    You’d start with all plugins deactivated and then slowly reactivate your plugins one by one. After each activation, retest the problem.
