Hi,

I’m using the Vantage theme and for some reason most of the short codes that i use aren’t working in the widget or theme itself. I have search the forum to see if anyone else had a similar issue and from what i have gather it seems like the Page Builder widget has issues with a lot of plugins?

To get to the point, i’m looking for a plugin that would display images in a carousel horizontally with an auto slide like the one of this plugin: http://getkiwi.org/plugins/logo-carousel/ Example #3.

I have tried countless plugs and haven’t been able to get this function to work. Any suggestion or solution?

    Hi Hector T.

    There should be no problem with you using the Kiwi Logo Carousel in a text widget in a PageBuilder row. I use this plugin myself and have had no issues.

    I have added it inside a text widget using the shortcode provided when you create the carousel. If you are having issues using this method then you may have a plugin conflict.

    Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

    Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

    Hi Magus,

    I’m not sure what the issue was, i only had 4 basic plugins on the site (black studio, contact form 7, page builder and widgets bundle). Due to a time limit on this project i decided to go with the code offer by the owl.carousel. The manual installation seems to be working okay. I’m still curious on what was the issue as i’m planing on considering using the vantage theme for future sites but am afraid that the same thing will happen when i’m in need of a specific function.

    For example, at the moment i need a gallery that will open images as a pop up but most of the plugins that i’m trying keep opening the images in a new tab. Should i open a new thread or can this be helped here? I just need a plugin that works well with the Vantage theme and Page-builder that offers a Light-box pop up.

    Hi Hector

    I am not sure what could have been causing your issues with the logo carousel shortcodes, as I said I use it myself with no issues.

    For the light-box popups I would suggest this plugin

    Again, this has been tested and verified to work with Vantage and PageBuilder.
