Hi there,
is there any documentation on using the gallery widget in Page Builder?
I do not know what I should insert in the “gallery type” field.
Thank you in advance,
Dennis
Hi Dennis
I originally added the type field for a few of our own themes that used it. For example, in Origami, you can enter “slider” in the type field and it’ll display a slider gallery.
If you’re after a slider in your theme though, I’d really recommend using Meta Slider. You can easily add a slider widget to your Page Builder pages.

Hi Greg,
thank you very much for your help.
I use Meta Slider now and it works like a charm.
Best regards,
Dennis
Hi there,
I was able to upload the meta slider, but I would like to use a different gallery. I’m unable to get the gallery page builder to work properly. Any advice as to how I can get more gallery options?
Thanks,
Nicole
HI Nicole
You can try using the Visual Editor widget to add your galleries. To get access to that widget first install: http://wordpress.org/plugins/black-studio-tinymce-widget/. If you have Jetpack Tiled Galleries and Carousel activated it helps round it off.
If you need further assistance please open a new thread and I’ll jump in there.
but what if you DON’T want a slider. What are the other options?
Thanks
Mitch
Hey all, just stumbled across this
As Mitch said – I want to use the Jetpack Gallery feature (it has a particular way of tiling that works beautifully for what I want to achieve) and for some reason the widget doesn’t work in Page Builder – the initial pop up comes up but when I click ‘choose images’ nothing happens.
Any ideas?
Hi @wolfandtheowl
You can use Jetpack Tiled Galleries in Page Builder by inserting a Visual Editor or SiteOrigin Editor widget and then using the Add Media button to add a regular gallery as you would in the normal Visual tab.
