    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Elephanttrunk,

Regarding the content area, do you have a public URL where we can take a look at how your theme is setup? To clarify, the linked thread is for the Influence theme so it’s quite likely the theme you’re using is structured differently. If you need to keep this URL private from other users, just select “Private Reply” on the bottom right of the comment box.

Preface: Please refer to this page as an example of this CSS.

If you haven’t already installed it, you’ll need to install the SiteOrigin CSS plugin, which gives you a full CSS editor. Once you’ve got that installed please navigate to WP AdminAppearanceCustom CSS. Add the following CSS:

    .rounded.panel-row-style, .rounded.panel-widget-style {	-webkit-border-radius: 45px;	-moz-border-radius: 45px;	border-radius: 45px;}

Adjust the radius to your liking. If you’re unfamiliar with border-radius, give this tool a try.

Now, any row or widget you apply the rounded class to will instantly have rounded edges.

You can add a row class by clicking the wrench icon above the row. Head over to the Row Styles sidebar and open the Attribute settings group. Set the Row Class as rounded.

You can add a widget class by opening the relavent widget, and then move over to the Widget Styles sidebar and open the Attribute settings group. Set the Widget Class as rounded.

    Hi Alex,

Just realized I actually got a reply here… the first time since I started using SiteOrigin CSS plugin. Thank you so much for replying.

Regarding the round corner issue, I actually already found a solution through a combination of researching and trying out different codes from my researching online, plus reading the plugin documentation. However, in the last 2 days, I’ve been stuck by 2 issues that I strongly suspect caused by this plugin. I hope you can help me out with that.

I use this plugin extensively to style my site and I found sometimes when I change something, say a minor change to the widget appearance, it will simultaneously and INVISIBLY change something else such as some field in some buddypress pages without my knowledge. I was fortunately able to find the source of such problems so far and correct them.

But not this time. I’ve been doing lots of styling with this plugin in the last 2 days and I now have 2 issues that I can’t solve:

    1. When I publish a new post, everything looks okay at the backend but at the frontend, the main post content just won’t show up in the post, but meta box and everything else appear as normal. There’s also a long blank space in the main content area, meaning even if the main post content did show up there, there’s still too much blank space there.

    2. At Buddypress profile, when I go to Settings / Email, there’s too much blank space above the main content of that page, this is the screenshot (I apologize my site is still localhosted now)

    screenshot

Another strange thing is that it looks normal on Microsoft Edge, but looks like on the screenshot on Chrome and Firefox.

I can’t figure out what caused these problems this time. Can you help me out on this, please? Thank you.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Elephanttrunk,

    Sorry for the delay.

I don’t seem to see any other threads associated with your account. If we’ve missed any other threads by, we’re very sorry about that! Could you please link me to the thread?

I’ve never come across the two issues you’re experiencing so I suspect they could be done by an unrelated plugin. This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue. Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If the plugin conflict test didn’t produce any results, and If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

If none of the above helps, do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on? If you need to keep this URL private from other users, just select “Private Reply” on the bottom right of the comment box.
