Hi Sdpoirier
Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on? If you need to keep this URL private from other users, just select “Private Reply” on the bottom right of the comment box.

Thanks. The border is part of the image. To remove it you’d need to crop the image slightly using any image editing tool with cropping functionality. Hope that helps.
The border is not part of the image. The original jpeg does not show the border or does the one i uploaded to my media files. It only shoes up once i put it in the header. i have even made the image larger and cropped it in the uploaded media area with the same result.
It’s hard to see, but the border is part of the image. Here is the image:

To make the problem a bit clearer I’ve expanded the logo’s canvas and made the background black. This makes the border issue easier to see:
Here is a cropped version of your logo that you can use to replace the current logo.

Right click on the link above and click Save As.
That worked great! thanks for your help on this. What is the recommended size in pixels for the masthead logo?
We’re glad to hear that helped. There isn’t a recommended size for the logo, the header will adapt to the size uploaded. For interest sake, the Vantage demo logo is 181px x 40px: http://demo.siteorigin.com/vantage/,
Thanks again for your help.
I love the Vantage Theme.
Have a great night!
You too :)
