Hi there,

This must be simple thing but I’m still a beginner of WP, so I’d like to know how to display the sidebar on the particular pages in Vantage free version?

As you may know Vantage doesn’t show sidebar as default.
You need to activate it in the Widget area, and the below doesn’t work for Vantage.
Everything goes blank.

    Hi Akihiko

Your best bet would be something like WooSidebars. It allows you to specify sidebars on a per page basis.

You can also try the Widget Visibility module in Jetpack which will allow you to specify which widgets appear on each page:

    Hi Greg and Andrew,

Thanks very much for your prompt replies.
I will try Greg’s suggestion as there is no Visibility button on the sidebar widget box in Vantage.

I will see how it goes and let you guys know.

    Thank you in advance.
    Cheers, Aki

Wow! WooSideBars worked great! Thank you for this post! I just wanted the sidebar to show up on the woocommerce pages and this was simple and effective! No I think that is enough exclamation marks. ;-)

Hi Guys. I too am having the problem of the sidebar not appearing on my homepage. I downloaded and activated WooSidebars, but now what do I do? How do I actually get the woosidebar on my homepage to appear? Sorry for being such a clueless newbie about this. Thanks.
