How to disable google fonts and optimize siteorigins sow headline?

5 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 5 years ago

My website has a poor score on google page insights. Here’s the https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.fbmarketingsoftware.com%2F

The main things that making it slow is the google fonts and this is https://www.fbmarketingsoftware.com/wp-content/uploads/siteorigin-widgets/sow-headline-default-5eb1f6052e70.css?ver=5.4

How can I optimize it and disable unwanted google fonts from loading? Also how to optimize the siteorigin widgets sow-headline.

Thanks

    Hi Kojak

    Thanks for reaching out.

Only the Google Fonts that you make use of will be loaded. If you’d prefer not to load those fonts, you could consider choosing a web-safe font from the list contained in the Headline widget. If you can see a font being loaded that you aren’t using, please, let us know.

If you aren’t already using a caching plugin, you could try https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-super-cache/. Autoptimize also recommends HyperCache, Comet Cache or KeyCDN’s Cache Enabler.
