How to change the color of the search icon in menu when search bar appears ?

Hello,

I want to change the background color of the search icon which is in the menu when the search bar appears.

I can change the background color of the search icon when I hover over this search icon, however the background color of this search icon changes back to it’s original color once the mouse has left the search icon. How can I adjust the search icon background color so that it will remain the color when the search bar is active and the mouse has left the search icon?

    Thanks for your feedback. I’ll log this as a feature request shortly. I have a feeling this will need to be attended to using JavaScript. Hopefully we’ll see this featured rolled out soon.

    Sorry we don’t have hotfix.
