How to bulk resize Images?

By Katherine Poole, 7 years ago. Last reply by Alex S, 7 years ago.

I want to bulk resize images whose height is more than 600px and auto adjust its width without disturbing the image ratio.

Like see this url: https://www.earthslab.com/anatomy/knee-joint/

In it see the third Image. It is quite big which is not looking good.
I can manually change its height and width using WordPress image edit option but I have plethora of such images whose height is more than 600px. So is there any option by which I can only display images which are resized to a max height of 600px.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Katherine,

Your best bet to do this would be to use something like Simple Image Sizes and use it to create a custom image size of the desired sizing.

Outside of that, you can use CSS but, unfortunately, this is beyond the scope of the support we’re able to offer on our free forums. There is a fair amount of custom work involved.

We do offer this level of support to our premium users, so if you’d like to upgrade to SiteOrigin Premium, then I can help you over email support.

If you’d prefer not to upgrade to SiteOrigin Premium, then you can hire a WordPress developer from Codeable. They’ll charge you an hourly rate for any work done.
