How to auto-start SiteOrigin Slider

Hi,
As it is right now the slider only starts when you press on the buttons (Right or left). How can you make it so the slider always auto-starts when refreshing the page WITHOUT pressing on the buttons?
Also how can I make the photo fade-away before the other one appears? Maybe that should be an option for the plugin?
Thank you for your time.

    Hi RinorM

Thanks for using our new slider widget. Please check what the slider Timeout is set to (https://siteorigin.com/widgets-bundle/slider-widget-documentation/). The slider should auto-start after the interval listed there. Default is 8000.

    Hi Andrew,

I have tried your sudgestion but it still does not run immediately after you refresh the page. I have set the slider Timeout to 1000, which means it should take 1 second for the slider to start after you go into the URL, right? But it still doesnt work.

The scenario I want to happen is like this: You go inside of the URL for the first time and right after you do that the slide should automaticly start.

Would appreciate further help. Thank you.

    Regards,

Setting my slider to 1000 starts the slider immediately. Can you perhaps temporarily de-activate all plugins at once except for Page Builder and the Widget Bundle and re-test. If there is no change doing that please test with a default WordPress theme like Twenty Fourteen and see if there is any change then.

    Thanks

I tried deactivating all plugins, but unfortunately it did not work.

I also tried with the twenty fourteen, same thing there. The only thing that gets the slide going when refreshing the page is if you press on the “right-left” buttons.

    Thank you for your time.

Have you tried first clearing the cache of W3 Total Cache and then de-activating the plugin. Then re-test.

I just did but nothing happend. Do you want the wp- admin settings and maybe check if you can find where the issues are? I can message you them.

    Thank you.

For sure, send them through to [email protected], please reference this thread in your email. We’re unfortunately working through a large backlog that built up at the end of last week. I’ll get to your mail as soon as I can. Thanks.

I almost have the same problem. It will auto-play after about 1 minute. It will auto-play after you manually click through the images.

If I set the homepage to display the latest posts, the demo slider works fine.

If I decrease the interval to 1000 the initial delay before auto-play begins is reduced.

Also, the overlap menu was working now it never overlaps.

I switched to using “Meta Slider” to get around this problem. However I prefer your slider because it will cover the background on large monitors and will play video.
