How to add pictures to the woo_commerce_categories widget from siteorigin?

8 years ago · Last reply by George Fragkos 8 years ago

Hello,

I want to display all of my categories with images at my front page. Though, the only available choice that I have there is to present them into an ordered list one down the other with just plain text. In a previous post at the existing website I have found a similar occation with mine but as a result there was a coding solution related to css and removing just the bullets. It was something like this

.widget_woocommerce_product_categories ul.product-categories {
list-style: none;
margin-left: 0;
}

.widget_woocommerce_product_categories ul.product-categories li {
margin-left: 0;
}

What about if I need to display all of my categories in a grid style with images? Is there a css coding solution or a free or premium plugins for this job?

Thanks a lot,

    Hi George,

    You’ll want to use a third party plugin for this.

    I would recommend taking a look at the following two plugins:

    Product Catalog (free)
    Content Views (requires pro version)

    This plugin doesn’t contain any grids, but the carousels it includes are really good:

    Hi Alex,

    Thanks a lot for all this useful information. I will take a closer look at all the above plugins and I will let you know if I find any other gaps.

    Thanks again!
