How can I list posts from a specific category directly underneath my page text (for example, posts in the fitness category would show up under the the general text on the Fitness page). But I don’t want to put these links in the sidebar/header or footer though.
I’ve tried the Category Pages, but with the Vantage Theme it shows the whole post, and not just the link. Plus with Category Pages I am unable to have any general text above these posts, it only lists the posts like an archive page. I want it to look like this, plus automatically update whenever I add a new post with that category:
Fitness text…blah blah blah. Here are the posts related to fitness:
link
link
link
Also, I have Page Builder plugin, but not sure if that can help me out here or not.
Hi Lori
The Post Loop (PB) widget. The very last field in that widget’s settings is called Additional, insert an argument like:
cat=x
Where x is the fitness category ID. That will filter your posts. To get that ID go to Posts > Categories, click on fitness and look at the url, the ID, as a number, will be in the url.
All of the above assumes you’re working in Page Builder on that given page. If you need general Page Builder help/intro please check out: https://siteorigin.com/page-builder/documentation/
Hope that helps.
