I am using Vantage and uploaded a couple of slides with Metaslider. Then, when going to the home page, I realize I cannot see the whole pictures. They are way too big.
I have tried to cut them but I cannot get to see the whole sliders.
Any ideas to fix this problem?
Thank you so much!
Hi Mireia
Thanks for running Vantage.
If you haven’t found it yet, our home page slider tutorial can be found here: https://siteorigin.com/vantage-documentation/getting-started/slider/.
The simple answer to your question is to disable the slider from being 100% width, you can do this under Appearance > Theme Settings > Home.
Hi Andrew, thank you so much for your answer.
I came up with another question. When entering to the blog through my smartphone, I realized everything looked messy. How can I make the theme responsive for smartphones and if possible for tablets as well?
Thanks again for your time,
Mireia
For sure.
Our mobile menu is a part of Vantage Premium, if you’re not running Vantage Premium and would like to check that offer out please head to Appearance > Premium Upgrade to view the offering.
Responsive Layout can be activated from Appearance > Theme Settings > Layout. Just keep in mind that it’s normal behaviour for containers to collapse vertically below each other when the screen size drops below a certain breakpoint.
