How Can I Center Amd Flush Right Text In the Masthead?

By jdtechnics, 10 years ago. Last reply by Andrew Misplon, 10 years ago.

I uploaded a logo and set it up as a logo-in-menu, which appears at the top left of the screen above the slider. I’d like to adjust the whitespace between the left edge of the screen and the left margin of the logo, but that will wait.

I would like to center the title text on the masthead, and also to flush-right other text on the masthead. I would like the subtitle text to appear immediately beneath the title.

I tried using Visual Editor text blocks, but they float all over the place .

Should I turn off the masthead and build a header widget with text blocks?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi

There is no header widget option when using logo-in-menu so that most likely won’t work with your requirements. It sounds like you’ll need to use the regular masthead with a text widget in the header sidebar widget area and then using your own Custom CSS to locate elements as required in the header sidebar. Basically a small amount of custom development work would be required here.
