How are the different post formats used?

Hi!

Thanks for a great theme! I’ve searched the docs without finding any information about how the different post formats are used. There are standard, gallery, image, video formats and so forth. I’ve tried them without understanding their differences.

Please advice!

    Hi Ppoluha

    The post formats will change several small things. For example ‘aside’, ‘link’ and ‘status’ are displayed without the post title. The image post type changes where the image is displayed.

    The video and gallery post types don’t change too much, but we included them incase we needed to change something down the line to support these types of posts. The need just hasn’t come up yet.
