Homepage Slider – How to Remove a slider frame?

By KE-FirstU, 7 years ago. Last reply by KE-FirstU, 7 years ago.

I’m a completely non-techy WordPress novice … so much of a novice that I don’t even know how to answer the Thread Topic or Thread Type below! Our website builder has moved on to other things, and I’m trying to figure out how to REMOVE frames from our home page slider (I can add frames just fine!):

www.firstunitarianportland.org

Here’s where I go on my dashboard:
Appearance
==> Customize
====> Widgets
======> Home1
========> SiteOrigin Slider

At which point this screen pops up:

https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B15mwwKVmbgkLUczSUtfLVZNcVk

I want to completely delete the 2nd, 4th & 6th images from the slider. When I click on the “x” to the right of each of those images, the “x” turns red, and a window pops up asking me if I’m sure. I click OK, and the line disappears. However, there’s no button anywhere that I can see that let’s me Save and Publish. So the images stay on the slider. I DON’T WANT TO REMOVE THE ENTIRE SLIDER, but those particular images.

Any help is appreciated!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi KE,

    That’s odd. The slide should be removed by pressing the X and pressing accept. Hm. Can you please try editing the slide by navigating to WP AdminAppearanceWidgets and editing the SiteOrigin Slider there?

    Hmmm. I’m not seeing the choice on my dashboard (and I am an administrator). Here’s what my dashboard looks like:

    Ha! Thank you! I found the WP-Admin log-in, and editing the slider there did the trick! Thanks again :-).
