Hi
how I can make the featured photo on a post to be responsive but not cutting off the head when you make the layout larger. instead if the photos gets smaller would work much better.
please see the home page for better understanding.

Hi Fahim488
Sorry for the delay. Please try:
1. Install Simple Image Sizes plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes/.
2. Go to Media. There you’ll find the “slider” image size. You can change the crop point from Cropping: Yes to Cropping: Center Top.
3. Run Regenerate Thumbnails plugin after saving: https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/
Hope that helps.
Hi Andrew
thanks for reply
I try to follow your instruction, I installed all plugin, I went to setting then Media and “slider” image size. I change the crop point from Cropping: Yes to Cropping: Center Top. but it didn’t work.
So I am writing it again.
When one want to increase or decrease the size of website the slider photos will cropping. l prefer to see the photo size only decrease to small and large without cropping it.
Any tip would appreciated greatly.
Did you run Regenerate Thumbnails after changing the crop point?
Hi Andrew
Yes I did run few time. any other advice please?
I think part of the problem is the relatively small dimensions of the slider images. For example:
757 wide
465 high
http://ramadantv.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/Screen-Shot-2015-07-02-at-10.10.56-pm.png
In order for this image to fit a 100% width and not pixelate it needs to zoom.
Perhaps try with a demo image that is at least 1280 x 768 and see how it comes out.
You could also try the following at Appearance > Custom CSS and see if that helps.
Hi Andrew
I did follow as you instructed, however it seams that its not working again. please see the link, there are some changes I THINK.

Looks to be working on my side.
Hi Andrew
I am still not getting to the point that I wanted to. Please see this website http://pages.aspectphoto.com.au/ if one decrease the website just the photo get smaller.
Please advice me how to do this as I really need to make it clean otherwise I have to go for another them.
regards
Fahim
Let’s take a look at the fourth image in your slider:
http://ramadantv.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/Screen-Shot-2015-06-25-at-7.07.19-am-1058×768.png
The above link shows the original image. If you click on the fourth circle in the slider menu you get that same image in the slideshow. Just as with the original the subjects heads are at the top of the image. I’m not sure there is anything else that can be done. Looking at this particular image can you try explain what you’d like to do here?
So is that means that this particular them/template (focus) doesn't have a responsive header functionality?
the only thing I need is that the header slider image to be responsive, it means when people are visiting with a smaller monitor or big monitor they should be able see the same photo without cropping.
please advice or refer me to someone else as I really need this to work.
even the photo you give as a example above is not in right size with different monitor.
Please see this website http://pages.aspectphoto.com.au/ if one decrease the website just the photo get smaller.
Thanks for clearing that up. I didn’t realise you were asking about the responsive behaviour of the slider.
You’re correct, the slider images won’t look the same on all displays. As the display decreases in size more of the image is available for viewing. If at some point you’d like to shift over to using a standalone slider plugin, I’d be more than happy to help you integrate it with Focus.
Please, take a moment to check out the Focus demo site here: http://demo.siteorigin.com/focus/. If possible, view the home page slider on a smaller screen. This is the default behaviour of this theme’s slider.
If you’d like to work another slider into the theme you could start looking here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/search.php?q=posts+slider. We could integrate into the same position in the theme as the current slider by making use a child theme.
Hi Andrew
Yes I really want to do this please. should I just upload one of the plugins? any opinion which one please?
Sure. What you’d need to do is try a few different sliders on a test page and settle on one. Once you’ve chosen you’d need to let me know the name of the slider you’ve used and the shortcode used to insert it.
Thanks
