I upgraded Page Builder and the Vantage theme on my website today. The home page is fine, but when I go to the Home Edit Page, none of my existing components are there. It’s just the beginning page, with “Add a widget row or prebuilt layout to get started. Read our starting guide if you need help.”
Thanks for any help!
replying only so I can get new comments, sorry.
Hi Patrick – can you check if this update fixes your issue?
https://github.com/siteorigin/siteorigin-panels
On that page, click “Download ZIP” in the left sidebar. Then in your WordPress admin, deactivate Page Builder, then install the ZIP file you downloaded from our GitHub page. Once you’ve done all that, check if you’re still getting the issue.
I am having the same issue and tryed to install this ZIP proposed. WordPress could not activate the plugin and stated this mesage:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class SiteOrigin_Panels_Widgets_PostLoop in /hermes/bosnaweb07a/b1434/ipg.bringmycoffeecom/capitalscfomento/wp-content/plugins/siteorigin-panels-master/widgets/basic.php on line 429
Consider that I am making a fresh install only having activated and updated the basic plugins recomended on wordpress panels, such as w3 Cache, Jetpack and so. After installing the theme I already have the issue on Home Page Edit.
Hope you can help.
Hi @julianobats
We’ve just pushed Page Builder 2.0.1. Please install that as it becomes available in your installation. It should resolve this problem.
Thanks
Hi Greg,
Followed your instructions and this happened –
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class SiteOrigin_Panels_Widgets_PostLoop in /home/content/79/9381779/html/wp-content/plugins/siteorigin-panels-master/widgets/basic.php on line 429

Hi Patrick
Greg reports this should be resolved in version 2.0.3. Hope that helps.
Just updated to 2.0.3 and tried to install the zip file. I got the same fatal error message.
Please try deleting both Page Builder and the Widget Bundle and then re-installing both. Your content will be safe during that process.
Deleted both, reinstalled Page Builder ok, then tried to reinstall the Widget Bundle and got a new fatal error message:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare siteorigin_panels_activate() (previously declared in /home/content/79/9381779/html/wp-content/plugins/siteorigin-panels/siteorigin-panels.php:34) in /home/content/79/9381779/html/wp-content/plugins/siteorigin-panels-master/siteorigin-panels.php on line 35
siteorigin-panels-master is the development version Greg previously asked you to try out. Can you please confirm that has been de-activated and deleted?
Thanks
Hi Andrew,
Yes, I had siteorigin-panels-master deactivated and deleted, and Page Builder 2.0.3 installed and activated. I just uploaded siteorigin-panels-master successfully, but upon trying to activate received the same fatal error message as last time (ending ‘on line 35’).
Patrick
…and, just now I deactivated and deleted Page Builder 2.0.3 and tried to upload and activate the panels master zip file, and received the other fatal error message ( ending in ‘on line 429’).
Thanks for the feedback here. Apologies for the confusion here, Greg recommended you install siteorigin-panels-master as a temporary fix, it’s the development copy, not the production copy. That folder should be completely removed, moving forward you don’t need it at all. Moving forward you’d need to install Page Builder 2.0.3:

Hi Andrew,
I’ve sent you an email. Thanks.
Thanks, I’ll jump in there ASAP.
