Home page is no longer referred to as “Page Builder by SiteOrigin”

After a series of updates, some pages, for example the HOME are not listed as “Page Builder by SiteOrigin” pages.
The pages in the site are displayed well but entering the administrative area of wordpress I can not modify them because I do not see the page Builder.

For example the “Valentine’s Day” page is ok:

Valentine’s Day – Page Builder by SiteOrigin 11/02/2018 at 9:54
Home – Home page 08/07/2016 at 15:00

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Betapavel

    Thanks for reaching out.

It sounds like a plugin conflict might have caused Page Builder to fail on certain pages. Please, try a quick plugin conflict test to see if the issue resolves.

This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

I tried to disable all non-SiteOrigin plugins but it still doesn’t work, the HOME page is not listed as a “Page Builder by SiteOrigin” page.

I have 2 errors on “Site Health”:

1 – The setting for post_max_size is smaller than upload_max_filesize, this could cause some problems when trying to upload files.
2 – The Authorization header comes from the third-party applications you approve. Without it, those apps cannot connect to your site.

Could they be the cause of the error?
    Thanks
    Roberta

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Roberta

Thanks for the update. The warnings aren’t likely to be related.

Is the home page now in the Block Editor? If so, you can force open the page in the Classic Editor by installing and activating the Classic Editor plugin from PluginsAdd New.

Hi, I install the Classic Editor, but when I click on the “Page Builder” tab it doesn’t show my homepage lines.
If I click on the “Live Editor” button on the right you will see my homepage with all the correct elements. By saving the page it is reported as a “Page Builder” page, but when I return I still do not see the homepage data. I can also insert new elements on “Page Builder” which are displayed, but the other elements of the homepage are always missing but they are displayed correctly online.
    Thanks Roberta

    Hi Roberta

Please, could you take a screenshot of the issue as you’re seeing it in WordPress while editing the page? You can upload screenshots to Imgur.com or Drive/Dropbox etc. and send us the link.

    Thanks

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks for the screenshots. I had a look at the page markup and it doesn’t look Page Builder is being used to manage this page. Please, could you try checking your theme documentation? Is the home page perhaps managed via theme settings?

You are right. I’m sorry. Thank you so much.
