I recently wanted to add some photos to my existing site. I couldn’t add media after selecting the add media button so I did some research and found out I needed to update a certain plugin. Everything worked then, I could add media. After finishing I decided to update to 4.1 and update all of the other plugins. After doing all of this, I went to my site and the homepage completely changed, featuring my latest blogpost. I noticed it was no longer checked on the static page so I rechecked it but the post on the homepage remained. I changed a few things to make the site presentable but I still no longer have title and subtitle, the menu bar is below the picture, and the slide show doesn’t seem to be an option. Do I need to start over? Is there any way to get my original home page back?
