Hello
i have the Vantage Theme Premium installed, and i’m using a child theme.
When i go to Appearance/Home Page i get stuck in an infinite loading.
The other pages works properly, and the website is working fine, but i can’t edit my home page due to this infinite loading.
what can i do?

Glad to hear you’re liking Vantage. This is almost certainly a plugin conflict issue. Please temporarily disable all non-SiteOrigin plugins, if the issue is resolved, re-activate your plugins one at a time while checking the problem, when it breaks again you will have found the conflict:

Worked, it was a problem with qTranslate plugin!

How far into your translation with qTranslate are you? I just ask because we have seen a fair amount of issues with the plugin over the past few months and on the whole, clients have been happier moving to another free alternative.
If you aren’t too far perhaps you might try out:

We unfortunately haven’t tested either at this stage.
I’m almost done, but if there is no solution i have to change the plugin.
Are you running any other pages with Page Builder? Do they load or suffer from the same issue as Appearance > Home Page?

Ok, let’s try moving your home page to a regular page. I’m going to quickly write a new thread on this as it’s something I write out fairly regularly, I’ll link to it shortly.

ok, that’s worked,
but now my widgets (Circle Icon and Sidebar Login) can’t be translated.
i use the shortcode [:en] to display english and [:it] for italian, but now the circle icon button always show Italian and the sidebar login shows both languages.
This is unfortunately a problem we’ve seen with qTranslate and Page Builder before. For an unknown reason that only works on Appearance > Home Page.
As an alternative you could try our Features widget contained in our Widgets Bundle and see if that translates using the shortcode:
