Hero plugin and Responsive

10 years ago · Last reply by madnutter 10 years ago

Hi,

Recently came a cross your Hero options while creating a Sample Intranet at a company I was working for and decided to add it to a live site that I maintain. As i don’t really test much and just create, but when i tried to view the hero setup on a tablet or smart phone it did not come across well.

Is there anyway to make it responsive to suit these devices? Or is it an aspect ratio that I need to maintain and embed the Text within the images etc. Any help is appreciated for both these worlds.

(This is a repeat of my previous post but can’t edit to add my premium no. hence recreating)

    Hi Madnutter

The Hero Image widget should have a fair amount of “responsiveness” right off the bat. There are a few things that it should be doing better though. For example, I’d like to see the option to scale text and maybe set different paddings for different screen sizes.

Are there any particular behaviours or options you’d like to see?

    Hi Greg,

I guess the two issues are those that you have commented on is the text scaling & padding to suit different screen sizes, not much else I can add.

    thanks
