Hero Image – fixed height

Hello SIte Origin team!

I have a little query regarding the Hero Image Widget (when using the Vantage theme). I’m using the hero image as a slider for 3 pieces of content, the problem is I need to fix the height so it doesn’t jump when changing.

Any chance you can help please?

    Thanks for your feedback. This has been previously requested, I logged it in our system earlier this week. Hopefully our developers will be able to implement this idea as a new setting soon. Sorry I don’t have something for right now.

    I have exactly the same problem… the footer wobbles up and down as it cycles through pictures.

    Setting height: 1020px in the Attributes has no effect and I tried adding height to the CSS selector you gave me earlier for the border-radius:10px but that has no effect in this instance.

    I tried padding the images to 1020px in the OS X Previewer Tools>Resize but I think it used a transparent background for the page which the plugin ignores, returning the image to the original size. Centering the images horizontally and vertically makes most sense… it’s not much use until that’s done.

    I might use PS to resize them but that as a major pain…

    Braam has assigned this to himself which means he’s starting work on it. We should have this as a feature in the next update.
