Help with customizing the Circle Icons blog layout on Vantage

Hi there. I am enjoying working with the Vantage theme but I have 2 questions.

1) When I use the Circle Icon layout, none of the meta-data appears (post date, post author, comment count, etc). That info appears when I use the ‘Blog’ layout. How can I get that information to appear with the Circle Icons layout?

2) How can I increase the size of the circle icons?
