I would like to insert a widget (Ditty News Ticker) within the Headline widget’s subheading through a php code. Is this possible? I haven’t managed to get it to work.

At this stage it’s unfortunately something I wouldn’t know how to handle in an upgrade safe manner. Usually if you were just editing an aspect of the theme you’d use a child theme, I’m not sure when it comes to widgets.
