Hello,
When we use “SiteOrigin Headline” or “Hero Header”, the text that we add, it changes format when we open the page but it looks okay in preview page. Sometimes text does not appear at all.
This is what appears when we add the text “test”:

Also, when we use a layout and there is “SiteOrigin Headline” with an image, where can we find the image to change it?
I use Invent theme.
Thank you,
Elena
Hi Elena
Thanks for posting.
Please, send a link to an impacted page and we’ll take a look.
If there is a Headline widget with a background then the image might be added as a row background. Edit the row and open the Design section to change it. We’d need to see the page to confirm.
Hello Andrew,
This is how the text appears : http://165.22.119.144/it/
Thanks. Please, export the page layout and I’ll take a further look locally. To do that, edit the page, click LayoutsImport/ExportDownload Layout. Upload the JSON file to wetransfer.com or the sharing site of your choice and send us the link.
Here it is : https://we.tl/t-w4aBwHIICD
Thanks.
I’m not seeing the Hero in this export though. Was the layout exported from the page or within a Layout Builder? To see the Hero in the layout I’d need the page export.
Here is what the export looks like once imported: https://imgur.com/a/FVlkPot.
Is the Hero in use a Livemesh widget? If so, you could perhaps try the SiteOrigin Hero widget to see if it behaves any differently.
Hello,
Sorry for the confusion. We have the same problem with text in SiteOrigin Editor and anywhere that we want to add text.
The page layout that I send you is from a SiteOrigin Editor. Do you want a page layout from Heading?
P.S. The https://imgur.com/a/FVlkPot does not show anything.
Thank you,
Thanks for clarifying. Sorry about the broken link. I’ve loaded up the layout and switched my core language to IT. All looks normal on my end. Please, could you try a plugin conflict test?
This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
