Header text / Masthead Background Image

I´m using Vantage Premium.
Theme Settings / Header Text – wrote some words / saved and published. Repented and removed the text. Despite this, it remains on the website. Above the text, one can see a small white line – it is possible to remove the text and line?
Added a picture via Masthead Background Image (1020×120 px). If I use DEFAULT or TILE the image will be repeated. CENTER or COVAR : a part of the picture is “below the menu bar”
Is there any solution?

    I solved the image position with HEADER PADDING.
    There is still a text which is REMOVED but fully visible on the site. + A little white line above the text.
    I tried to solve the problem of replacing the transparent (.png) to a non-transparent (.jpg), but the text and the white line is located above.
    Solution?

    Please navigate to Appearance->Widgets and remove the Headline Widget from the Header Sidebar Area.
