Hi,

I am trying to figure out how to add a home pages slider to the rest of the pages in the Influence theme and can’t find the setting. I did install the Plus plugin. I appreciate you help!

Thank you,
Gene Yuger

    Hi yevgeniyy

On each page you’ll find a slider box in the right column. You can either enter a shortcode or opt to use the first row from Page Builder as your slider.

    Hope that helps.

Andrew, thank you very much for your reply. I did see those settings. I believe, the home page slider is enabled from the Theme Settings. I tried to use the short code displayed there “[home_slider_widget]” in other pages short code boxes, but without success. I’m not even sure if this short code is correct. It appeared when I created the slider in theme settings. Where can I find the correct short code? Thank you, Gene

It’s unfortunately only possible at this stage to use a shortcode from a plugin like Meta Slider on pages other than the home page.

If you’d like to use the same slider as your home page on other pages you could do this. You could re-build the home slider in the first Page Builder row on a sub-page and then use the paintbrush icon (pre-built layouts) to replicate that page’s contents. That way you wouldn’t need to re-build the slider widget on each sub page.

    Sorry this isn’t easier.

Thank you Andrew! The Meta Slider approach worked!

Super, glad to hear that did the trick.
