google web fonts not working

Hi There,
I can’t seem to get any of the web fonts to display properly except helvetica neue, all the other fonts I select in the customiser seem to end up defaulting to a serif font face no matter how many sans serif fonts I select.
I tried adding all the fixes outlined in this thread:

Google Web Fonts are not loading

but non are working.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to make this work.
url is www.cardboardrobotcreative.com but it is on coming soon so if you would like me to make you a user please email me and I will set up an account for you
thanks
swerve

    Hi, I Work Here

It seems that the url that fetches the Google fonts being selected is not loading as required. I’m going to investigate further and report back ASAP.

    Hi, I Work Here

Are you able to login to your server via FTP and delete something called advanced-cache.php which will be found in the wp-content folder. If you’re unsure what to delete please send me a screenshot of the wp-content folder via email. We believe this is the result of actions taken during hosting setup.

Yep its gone now – just out of interest why wasn’t it allowing the css to work properly?

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks for sorting that out. We think that file was placed there during the host’s WordPress install process. For some reason it was preventing the font being selected from being imported into the page, basically caching the setup as it was and not how it needed to be after saving.

Glad we could resolve that. All the best.
