Hi,
Instead of just having a small logo appear on my website, I want to have a full-color banner that will fit across the entire width of the webpage and will be the same height as seen on my website (including the white space). I would like to place this where the logo normally sits but, once again, would like it to fit across the entire page in width. If you can help me with any of the following questions, I would be extremely grateful:
1) What banner size for Vantage Premium would work?
2) Using CSS, how would I go about adding the banner to my site?

You can use images up to 1080px wide by whatever height you nee

In reply to your second point use this code in your custom CSS if the layout using the above does not work well enough
header#masthead .hgroup { padding-top: 10px; padding-bottom: 10px; background: url(/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/header-glow.png)center bottom no-repeat; }Just replace the image path with the one you want to use. The padding values can be adjusted to ensure the masthead size is as you want, they pad the logo image you already have in place.
