I’m building a website for a newspaper and the home page post preview slider disappeared randomly. I assume it’s something I did but I don’t know how to get it back.

What was powering the slider, was it a plugin or theme? If you know how the slider was originally inserted, you could hopefully trace the problem back to the source.
