Fotopress (was Canvakala) plugin not working in So-Editor

Firstly I have to say thank you! SiteOrigin is like a dream come true, fast to learn, fast to get pages up and the site loads … well, fast :)

I have a plugin called FotoPress – used to be Canvakala. I need to use SiteOrigin Editor to get a ‘regular’ WP page and when clicking the Fotopress button – nothing happens. I should get a search box which allows me to search for images, edit them and add them to the page. None of this happens.

I have another plugin, ImageSuite which works perfectly so it’s not a big issue, just thought I’d let you know.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Glenis!

    I’m very glad to hear that Page Builder is working well for you.

    Thanks for letting us know about this. Plugin conflicts are notoriously difficult to fix. We try play nicely with other WordPress plugins, but the main issue is that we are doing things in a slightly non-standard way. This is the only way we’re able to give you so much page building power.

    This does mean that, unless other plugins are aware of Page Builder, it’s often the case that they don’t work with Page Builder.

    Would it be possible for you to let the authors of this plugin know about the issue?

    Will do.

    The other problem I’m having is with Amazon Native Shopping Ads. I’m sure you already know this but … I’m my Amazon affiliates account I create an ad which looks like this

    amzn_assoc_placement = “adunit0”;
    amzn_assoc_search_bar = “true”;
    amzn_assoc_tracking_id = “mysite-20”;
    amzn_assoc_search_bar_position = “bottom”;
    amzn_assoc_ad_mode = “search”;
    amzn_assoc_ad_type = “smart”;
    amzn_assoc_marketplace = “amazon”;
    amzn_assoc_region = “US”;
    amzn_assoc_title = “Shop Related Products”;
    amzn_assoc_default_search_phrase = “bubble gum”;
    amzn_assoc_default_category = “All”;
    amzn_assoc_linkid = “***d2319b0a0e88ec1e****”;

    I put the script into a Text Widget but the ‘Native Shopping Ad’ turns up in random places not where it should be. I’ve also tried the SiteOrigin Editor but same result/problem. Usually the ad turned up at the bottom of the page, but not always. It leaves an extra paragraph or 2 where it should be and that looks weird. Should I use something other than a Text Widget?
