Format Background of Widget

10 years ago · Last reply by Support Assistants 10 years ago

Hello-

Is it possible to customize the background of a particular widget on a specific page (other than the options given in the settings)? I have a checklist I like to overlay on a image. I want to be able to control the alignment of the width of the background image. Is that possible?

    Hi LaTorri

    The Design tab of each widget offers a background image setting. Once that’s applied we could try assist with tweaking the alignment using Custom CSS. If you have it close to where you want it, we could try assist from there. Is the yellow image the image you’re trying to use?

    Yes. I am ultimately trying to place the check list on the image/clipped paper. Also, I want to display the full image (it's currently cut off in it current format).

    Also-I submitted a response to another ticket I have opened (headers). I mistakenly publish inform I did not want the public to view. Can you please make me last responses private?

    I’d recommend using a single SiteOrigin Editor widget for your text. Click the Design tab when editing the widget and add your background there and not at the row settings level. Next, click the Attributes tab and enter the following in the CSS Styles field:

    background-size: 100%;

    Done :) Marked the IP private.

    Tried what you recommended but it does not work. The top of image is still cut off. The text/checklist you see was created with a plugin (Front-End).
    Is there a way to change the alignment of the image (to the left)?

    Try editing the widget itself and adding to the CSS Styles in the Attributes tab:

    background-size: contain;

    I’m not sure if this is one we’ll be able to resolve given the image size.
