Hello,
So i was trying to remove the siteorigin thing at the bottom of my website (Will donate soon) And i removed all the code by accident. I have tried downloading the WordPress theme to my computer, and copying the code over. but that does not seem to work either. Anything? Thanks!
Hi
It might be best to re-install at this stage. Head to Appearance > Themes, move over to another theme, then delete Vantage and after that search for the theme under Add New and re-install.
/parts/footer.php would be the file to edit in this case.
Hi, I had a similar problem. My footer widget (and copyright info) on another site I manage is at the very bottom of every page. But something has happened with my new site, and now the same info isn’t in the right spot and I can figure out what I did or how to undo it. I deleted the theme and then reinstalled as suggested. The footer seems to be in a different spot from one instance of the template to the next.
Here’s the site in question:

I’m just building it now!
Thanks,
Jennifer
Hi Jennifer
Check that your footer copyright text is added at Appearance > Theme Settings > General > Site Information Text.
If your copyright text is there but isn’t appearing on the site front end I’d suggest re-installing the theme again.
