Focus Homepage issue

Hi. I was wondering if I could make a post my homepage in Focus. I like the default ‘Home’ page, with Slider and the thumbnails of all the videos below, but I’d like my main page – the first page everyone sees – to just be a single video with some text below about me and what I do.
I know you can make the ‘front page’ a Static Page using the Customise settings, but none of my static pages have a beautiful video splash on top like my posts do, and I’m not sure how I’d go about fixing that.
If I can get this fixed I’ll be buying premium.

    Alternatively I’d love to have just a short text box somewhere on the home page so people know what my page is about.

    Thanks for running Focus.

    Updating to premium won’t affect these areas. You review the premium upgrade offering at Appearance > Premium Upgrade.

    One option would be to use the Call to Action box, the text can be added under Appearance > Theme Settings > Call to Action. This is sitewide though.

    I unfortunately can’t think of a way, without custom development, to easily load a post with a video as the home page.
