Fixed background picture within the headline-widget

10 years ago · Last reply by Greg Priday 10 years ago

Hi!

i´ve a litte question about the Fixed background picture effect within the headline-widget (I´m sorry, i dont know the correct expression for it). I saw it in the pagebuilder pre-builts. If i preview the Everst Design, the background picture of the headline widget underneath the cellphone does not move with scrolling down the page, it´s fixed or kind of sticky. With applying the design, the background picture doesn´t appear at all. And if i set another image as background of the row, it´s not “sticky” or fixed anymore. How do i get it so, like in the pre-built design? Thanks!

btw, how can i site two buttons side by side within a headline widget, as seen on the siteorigin homepage?

Thank you!

    Hi Benedikt

I think the effect you’re referring to is the parallax effect. The current parallax effect in Page Builder doesn’t work in some situations, but we’ve fixed it in our development version. We’re hoping to release this fix in the next few days.

As for 2 buttons side by side with a headline widget – the Hero Image widget might give you the effect you’re after. You can activate it by navigating to Plugins > SiteOrigin Widgets.

    Page: Hero
