Installer feature request – Word count Per widget block
the wordpress standard editor (not talking gutenberg!) has a basic “”word count”” facility on basic editor blocks (not sure how long it’s been in place). and it does seem to count up all the words within blocks – as an aggregate – when editing a page-builder page.
but if you edit a widget content block – the wordcount does NOT appear. is there any way to activate this? i.e. for a ‘text editor’ widget. we’ve got content editors putting stuff into page builder widgets and this would be very useful.
if not possible – could this please be added as a feature request? thanks!

Unfortunately, this isn’t possible at this time. I’ve marked this thread as a feature request. We often look through these threads to get ideas for what to add in our future updates. Hopefully, we’ll be able to add this in a future update.
