Feature Request: Display-Hide Widgets

9 years ago · Last reply by Jeffrey Carandang 9 years ago

First off,
You’ve created an amazing product – so thank you! :)

Once feature that would be very useful is for widgets to be hidden with a simple checkbox feature. This would be very helpful when you want to modify widgets on live pages, but aren’t ready to publish your changes. Right now I have to make all changes in one go. With all the flexibility Page Builder has, this would be very helpful.

Cheers

    Hi Web242,

I’ve marked this thread as a feature request. We often look through these threads to get ideas for what to add in our future updates. Hopefully, we’ll be able to add this in a future update.

    Hi,

You can use Widget Options plugin as solution for now : https://wordpress.org/plugins/widget-options/ which is now compatible with the Pagebuilder. Then on gear tab icon select Display Logic and you can use PHP conditional tag such as :

    current_user_can('manage_options')

to only show the widgets on admin ;) I hope this helps.

    Cheers,
    Jeffrey
