Feature Request: Add PageBuilder to the content panel of the Tabs widget

9 years ago · Last reply by myplatypus 9 years ago

For each tab created in the SiteOrigin Tab wizard, a text editor is available to enter content for the tab. I would like the SiteOrigin PageBuilder to replace this content editing area just as it does the WordPress post/page content editing area.

    Hi Myplatypus,

By tabs widget do you mean an editor widget? If so, you should give the layout builder widget a try. It’s a Page Builder in widget form. If not, could you elaborate?

    Hi, Alex,

While putting together a response for you, I realized that I made the faulty assumption that Site Origin had authored this package of widgets …

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/addon-so-widgets-bundle/

… which includes this Tabs widget …

    http://proto.ingenious-web.com/siteoriginaddon/tabs-widget/

So, I guess I'll go post my idea in that author's forum.

That said, if you know any way to easily make the above Tabs widget use the
Page Builder editor for its content fields, I'd love to hear it.

Or perhaps you've worked with the above author as he developed these widgets to work with your Page Builder product and can collaborate with him to add the Page Builder editor option to his Tabs content field?

Thanks for a GREAT product in Page Builder!
