Hello all, i know this is not an exactly siteorigin problem, but i didnt know where else to ask. Sorry if it is no a relevant topic.
I have a strange problem with the favicon of my site. I was using a plugin, but after the last wordpress update that started supporting on its own custom favicons, i disabled the plugin and i am using the wordpress option. But, the strange problem is that on all browsers it is shown (Firefox, Internet explorer, Opera), but only Google Chrome cant show it! Any ideas why this happens? I have cleared browsing history, etc., tried from a different computer, the same problem.
Thanks in advance

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Palaenium

It seems to be showing in Google Chrome on my side using OS X. Are you still experiencing the same problem?

  2. 9 years, 8 months ago palaenium

Yes, unfortunately. I have tested using OS X, only various versions of Windows…

Correct: I have not tested with OS X…..

(by the way, it would be a good addition for this support forum, if you have the ability to correct the posts you have made – just a suggestion)

    Hi, I Work Here

Apologies for the delay. I’ve asked our developer Braam to check for us on PC as soon as he’s on again.

If you’ve made any progress, please, let us know. Thanks :)

    Hi, I Work Here

Braam checked for us on PC now – Windows 8.1.

In Chrome it’s showing two red stripes.
In Forefox and IE and it’s showing your logo as the favicon.

Can you perhaps check the root folder on your server using FTP or Hosting File Manager to see if there is a favicon placed in that folder?

Solved!! I am using parallels for managing the site etc. For some reason, at the root directory there was the favicon of parallels (the two red lines). I replaced with my own and everything is ok now! Many thanks for your support!
