Extracting the Origami Gallery to another theme?

Hi,

The gallery on the Origami theme is one of the most beautiful wp galleries i’ve seen (http://demo.siteorigin.com/origami/galleries/), and I really want to use that gallery on other themes also.

But since its not a plugin, I will need to extract it from the code.

Now, Ive copied the gallery.php code to the other themes gallery.php, and my next step would be to find the CSS for the gallery, but can’t seem to find it.

Is there a way to get this gallery to work on other themes, instead of the default gallery?

I’d pay for the gallery alone if I could all day long.

Cheers
Thomas

    Hi Thomas

Thanks for your thread. I think the best option would be to find a plugin to handle this for you. The Origami gallery is built on Flex Slider. Here are a few you might consider:

    http://wordpress.org/plugins/%20Flex%20Slider

MetaSlider for example has a Flex Slider option. You’d create your galleries using Meta Slider and then insert them into your posts/page with a shortcode.

    Hi Andrew,

Thank you so much! That’s a huge help for me, been spending days trying different gallery plugins, even paid 20usd for a useless one.

    This looks great!

    Thanks again.
