Hi all,
I completed a page layout about 14 hours ago and things were set as the way I wished. Unfortunately, it did not last for very long.
Here is what happened actually: an update was done right after the login to the site, and the page mentioned above turned into a funny look after. Every row has an extra space(about 35px), and I am sure that the issue was not existing at the moment the page was completed.
Any idea?
Hi HeNRy,
Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on?
35px is the default Row Bottom margin. Can you please check to see if it’s that? Please navigate to WP AdminSettingsPage Builder and open the Layout tab. Is the Row/Widget Bottom Margin set to 35px? If so, does setting this value to 0 remove the newly added spacing? It’s quite possible it won’t as the Row Bottom MArgin hasn’t been changed in the latest update but due to the amount of spacing it’s too exact to rule out without running a check.
Hi Alex,
Thank you for answering me out here. I tried to edit this ticket right after solution been found, but not permitted.
I found the issue was caused by different screen sizes. 2 columns were inline – one for image and another for text. Too much margin spaces put in the text column causing the container(row) had to enlarge responsively to fit the screen. The issue has been solved since this cause was found.
Thank you so much. Much appreciate.
[PS] In case you still need to know how your amazing works can craft websites, check the page mentioned above using SiteOrigin.
Hi HeNRy,
I’m glad to hear you were able to resolve this issue. I’m sorry I wasn’t able to be of assistance this time. Please be sure to post another thread if you have any other questions.
On a personal note: I absolutely love the clean look of your website! :)
