Extending the SiteOrigin builder with custom modules

Hello,

I’d like to check if we have the freedom to extend the page builder with custom modules of our choice.

We have started working on a new project with a lot of custom sections which we intend to integrate using the SiteOrigin page builder plugin and extending some of its modules or perhaps creating new ones.

I’ve checked at https://siteorigin.com/docs/widgets-bundle/getting-started/creating-a-widget/ that this is doable but I’d like to verify if there are any limitations.
