well there are 2 requirements in page builder
1) copy layouts built from the page into the layout builder – this requirement arises as i wanted to club multiple rows in that where of different row were of different division [1 division, 2 division, 3 division]. i wanted to put a parallax background continuos across the rows. for this i wanted to but these rows into one layout builder. this requirement came after i had populated all the data in to the rows and designed in.
-> i would have to re do all the work here in the layout builder
-> ideal solution would be to have a option to copy and paste layouts into the layout builder
-> #Juggad [hindi word for hack solution] found by me, it to create a layout builder and import the whole page using the pre built layout option and then deleting the not required part from the page. -> voila, now we have the required layout into the layout builder
2) copy layout from inside the layout builder to one level above
-> i haven’t found a solution for this other than redoing the whole thing
-> ideal solution would be to have a option to copy and paste layouts into the layout builder

Thanks for reaching out and for your feedback.
This aspect of Page Builder does need attention. We’ll hopefully have new features to offer a bit later in the year. For now you could also create a page and build a single row in Page Builder and then import that single row via the Layout Builder. That said, it sounds like you have this hack solution figured out. Sorry we don’t have more at the moment. I’m sure we’ll be adding new features soon.
