error sending e-mail Contact Form

Hello,

I’m using Siteorigin’s contact form, looks beautiful. However, it won’t send emails.

I’ve tried to deactivate the non-Siteorigin plugins (master slider and title remover) and cleared the cache afterwards. But still the same error.

The contact form is made in page builder.

What else can I try?

    Hi Simone

    This sounds like the conflict we were having with Yoast SEO. We’ve fixed this in the latest update (version 1.5.10). Can you check if updating fixes the issue for you?

    Still error sending mail. (I’ve cleared the cache and all.)

    I just had another look at the error and it seems like that’s a problem that comes up when wp_mail can’t properly send the email. Where are you hosting your WordPress site? Can you ask your hosts to double check that your WordPress installation is able to send emails properly.

    Thanks Greg, I’ll have the test-site online tonight, I’ll try again then. Now it is still just local.

    Hi Simone

    Fantastic! Very glad to hear it. My guess is that your localhost wasn’t setup to send email. Most good webhosts are setup to handle wp_mail, so this isn’t usually a problem when you get your site online.
