    Hi Elefant,

It’s possible to add videos to the Accordion by upgrading to Download: SiteOrigin Premium — WordPress Page Builder & Template Builder Addons as it adds additional Accordion functionality that allows you to add widgets to each Accordion item.

    Hi Alex,

Thank you very much for clarifying this point: I have used various SiteOrigin widgets including VideoPlayer – so, the news that upgrade to Premium will enable this feature is welcome.

One question: when adding widgets to each Accordion item, if each Accordion item had some text and a video, do controls exist to prevent more than one video being active at once?

For example, if an Accordion item is closed whilst the video within it is being played, will the video (including audio) stop playing? (i.e. a maximum of one active video.)

Thanks Alex, in advance re: this point.

    Hi Elefant,

Unfortunately, not at the moment, but I’ve marked this thread as a feature request to allow for this in a future update.

    Hi Alex,

    Thanks for clarifying this point.

Re: Premium: does the SiteOrigin Video widget enable control using JavaScript over when the video stops via when a container is active, for example? (Likewise, would Accordion Premium enable html to be written and executed to embed a video, with JavaScript (or another approach) to stop the video once that Accordion element is closed?)

    Thanks again!

    Hi Elefant,

The SiteOrigin Video Player widget doesn’t include any specific JavaScript to do that but there’s nothing stopping you from writing JavaScript that does that, yes.

To answer your question, yes. but it will require you to write JavaScript to do this. I can provide direction in doing this but we can’t directly assist with writing the JavaScript at this time.

    Hi Alex,

Thanks for this: if you could give me some direction on where/how to add JavaScript to the widget/widgets, this would be super useful, thanks!
